About

Lutheran Women's Missionary LeagueThe Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the official women’s auxiliary of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is to assist each woman of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.

Membership

All women 18 years and older who are communicant members of Catalina Lutheran Church are automatically members of the LWML, whether or not they choose to actively participate.

Meetings

The LWML meets the third Wednesday of the month at 9:45am in the fellowship room, during the school year, except for December when we have a Christmas Tea.

Mites

Mites (offerings) are collected in mite boxes and gathered on the first Sunday of each month to support the mission projects approved by the LWML membership in convention every two years. Read the example of the widow’s mite in Luke 21:1-4.
