Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023 – Lord God, heavenly Father, You have provided many examples of generosity in your Word. When King David asked the Israelites to provide gifts for the building of a Temple in Jerusalem, the people responded with such exuberance that he had to tell them to stop giving as they had exceeded the requirements. We beseech You to move the hearts and minds of members of Catalina Lutheran Church to show a similar spirit of generosity as we undertake a second capital campaign to raise money to build a new church sanctuary and office space in the coming years. We ask this in the Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one true God, world without end. Amen.
