Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023 – O Kind and Compassionate Father, Whose Word assures us of Your care for us and instructs us not to be anxious, for You provide for us even more than You care for the birds who neither sow nor reap; just as You created all the birds of the air and fish of the sea and still preserve them, so preserve us. Create in us clean hearts that trust in Your care for us, that we might not worry about our daily bread but that we would trust in You above all things for we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose, through Jesus Christ, Your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. Amen.
