Lord God: St. Mary, knowing that she was carrying Your Son, the Savior of the World, in her womb, sang a new song to You: “My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” We lift our voices in the same song; for You, O God, have richly blessed us through the fruit of Mary’s womb, our Lord Jesus Christ. Help us to celebrate your gifts and use them to make the most of the ministry opportunities you present us at Catalina. Today we thank you for the gift of mothers, especially those who, like Mary, raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Amen.
