Friday, Oct. 20, 2023 – O Loving God, Thou Mighty Redeemer, Who desires that all people be saved and to come to the knowledge of the Truth; just as You created mankind in Your image, both male and female, and saw that it was very good, so be with us as we go through our many vocations, that we might ever be ready to give an answer for the hope that is in us and be brought to all good works which You have prepared in advance for us to do. Send us, Your church, to the unchurched, that we might teach and baptize according to Your commission, that all You bring before us may know the truth of Your beloved Son, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, through Him who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. Amen.
