Day 62: Feast of Sts. Phillip and James, the apostles, Monday, May 1
Lord, God, you called Saints Phillip and James to be sent ones with your Good News. You led them to particular places at specific times that sinners might hear your saving Word and be saved. You have called and placed us in Catalina that we might proclaim the same Gospel of Christ-crucified and risen to those in our communities. We confess that we have had times of failure in following that calling. Forgive us for Christ’s sake. Use us to continue to lead others to Jesus that they, with us, might be joined to your Body in this place, and at the last, recline at your eternal feast. Amen.
