Lord God, “you have cast down the mighty from their thrones and exalted the lowly. You have filled the hungry with good things.” Keep our hunger focused on the spiritual gifts you offer through the forgiveness of sins. Keep us from being mighty in our pride. Make us thankful for the daily sustenance you give us and move us to share our blessings with others. Amen.
