Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023 Thanksgiving Day– Mighty God, Your strength and power are unmatched in all the universe. May we not be deceived by the gifts You have provided to us—talent, influence or wealth—thinking we are strong or powerful or self-sufficient. Instead, grant us Your grace that we may kneel in reverent humility before You making our requests and pleadings known. Make us ever mindful that You are the Giver of Life, and that every good and perfect gift is from Your loving hands. Help us to steward Your good gifts to the praise of Your only begotten Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
