You, Lord Jesus, who sits at the right hand of the Father, have mercy upon us. You have called each of us by name, but we have not embraced your Word nor have we yearned for your Sacraments as we should. Forgive us and renew us so that we read and learn your Holy Word, rejoice in the new life of Holy Baptism and receive your body and blood as the life-giving food that it is, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
