Heavenly Father, I confess to you that I have sinned against you in thought, word and deed. I break your commandments every day. I am powerless in the face of temptation. I am truly sorry for my sins and ask your forgiveness. My only hope of salvation lies in your Son, Jesus Christ. Help me to look at His cross for forgiveness and life eternal. Amen.
